| Recycle - Doing My Part

Every Day Life
I try to do my part on a day to day basis. I have changed most of my financial transactions over to digital format so that packs and packs of papers are not sent to me in my bills. I have also changed a few things over to auto bill pay as well. This reduces the amount of paper that a company needs to send me for each billing cycle. I also recycle all of my cans and bottles and just about everything possible that can be recycled. I even turn full sheets of used paper into scrap note papers.

Computer Parts
Most computers that businesses see as garbage or that are no good to them are refurbished by me using old computer parts from other scrap computers. When a computer dies, not all parts are bad. I save and test the leftover parts and save what is good, then later install those parts into refurbished PCs. This lessens the amount of parts that end up in the garbage. I also save old drives if the customer does not see the need to drill a hole in them. In most cases, those refurbished PCs are donated to churches or non profit organizations. Sometimes, they are sent back into the workforce.

| Donate

Donate your PC
If you would like to donate your PC on your own, but don't know where to go, please visit http://www.cristina.org/donate.html to learn how to donate your PC to a worthy cause. If you would like me to do this through the National Cristina Foundation, I require that you donate $10 or more to the American Red Cross, Disaster Relief Fund. Your full donation will be received by me, but go directly to the American Red Cross. NO portion of your donation will be retained by me. Your monetary donation is for my time to go through the PC donation process, including packaging and shipping. Once again, NO portion of your monetary donation will be retained by me.
